Dry Eye Mask User Guide

Intended Use

This mask provides adjustable heat therapy to:

  • Support the release of oils from the Meibomian glands in your eyelids

  • Help maintain a healthy tear film

  • Relieve symptoms of dry, irritated, or screen-strained eyes


Important Safety Information

  • Use heat levels that feel soothing and comfortable.

  • If the mask feels too hot, reduce the setting immediately.

  • Do not bend the mask in half, as this may damage the internal heating element.


Directions for Use

  1. Plug the cable into the included wall adapter.

  2. Insert the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

  3. Ensure the wire is on your right side when wearing the mask.

  4. Press the POWER button on the controller.

  5. The display will show the current heat level and countdown timer.


Using the Controls

  • Heat Level (1–10): Start at a lower setting and increase gradually based on comfort.

  • Timer: Doctors recommend using the mask for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening.


Placement

  • Place the mask over your eyes and adjust the strap for a secure, comfortable fit.

  • For moist heat: Lightly spray the mask cover with water before use.


Optional Beep Feature

  • Enable Beep: Turn on the mask, then press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds. A sound icon will appear.

  • Disable Beep: Turn on the mask, then press and hold the POWER button again for 5 seconds. The sound icon will disappear.


Expressing the Oils (Oil Secretion)

After using the mask, it is recommended to express the oils stored in your eyelids:

Method 1 – Finger Sweep:

  • Gently sweep your upper eyelid downward toward the lashes for 5 seconds.

  • Gently sweep your lower eyelid upward toward the lashes for 5 seconds.

Proper Eyelid Hygiene

  • Wash your eyelids to reduce bacterial buildup.

  • Gently clean each eyelid with soap and water for one full minute per eye.

  • You may also use eyelid towelettes (e.g., Optase®, OCuSOFT®, or similar).

Protective Cover Usage and Care

  • A protective cover is included to keep the mask clean from makeup, tears, and residue.

  • Hand wash the cover with mild soap and water, then air dry.

  • Replacement covers are available at www.EyeMask.com.

  • To clean the mask itself, gently wipe it with a damp cloth.

  • Do not submerge the mask in water.


Storage

  • The storage box includes a notch to accommodate the cord, so you can store it neatly while plugged in.

  • Rated for 110V / 220V use – travel friendly.

  • Always use the included UL-approved USB wall plug.

  • Only replace with a plug rated 5V / 2A (10W).

Contraindications

  • Do not use this mask for at least 14 days after any type of eye surgery, or unless directed by your physician.


Precautions

  • Do not submerge the mask in water or liquids.

  • If submerged accidentally, unplug and allow it to dry fully before reuse.


Safety Warning – Strangulation Hazard

  • The mask includes an attached wire.

  • To reduce risk, do not allow the cord to become tangled or wrap around the neck.


Additional Safety Information

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • If the product becomes damaged or malfunctions, stop use and discard safely.

  • Rated IP22: Resistant to light water spray but must not be submerged.
